University of Saint Joseph Physician Assistant Graduates Earn 100% Pass Rate Four Years in a Row

West Hartford, CT (08/25/2022) — Congratulations are in order for the University of Saint Joseph Physician Assistant Studies program. The 45 graduates from May 2022 earned a 100 percent first-time pass rate on the Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam (PANCE). Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) is mandated for graduates of physician assistant programs in order to practice the profession and obtain initial licensure in the United States. Since the program's inception in January 2017, graduates of our 28-month PA program have consistently ranked above the national pass rate average, with each graduating class earning a 100% first-time pass rate.

"The USJ PA Class of 2022 was less than three months into the program when the pandemic hit. This result is a testament to the students, the faculty, and the staff who never wavered from their commitment to excellence and the practice of medicine.
