West Hartford, CT (03/23/2023) — The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) announces an expanded partnership with First Choice Health Centers, Inc. (FCHC). Program highlights include enhanced connections between the FCHC's clinical staff and USJ faculty and 20% USJ tuition discounts for First Choice Health Centers employees.

USJ Provost Michelle Kalis, Ph.D., states, "First Choice Health Centers has been a key partner for USJ in providing high-quality clinical experiences for many USJ students. We are pleased to expand this partnership with a tuition discount to FCHC employees. USJ relies on clinical partners to continue to graduate healthcare practitioners who are helping to address the workforce shortage in Connecticut."

Eligible full-time employees may participate in undergraduate and graduate programs at USJ, except for Pharmacy and Physician Assistant Studies, and will have a waived application fee.

By providing enhanced opportunities for USJ students' clinical training at FCHC during their education, the partnership paves a pathway for future employment at FCHC following graduation.
